Quick question: Have you ever taken groups to a challenge course (high and low ropes, co-operative learning and teambuilding games)?

Reason for asking: I am beginning to pursue training for such a course and am looking for feedback from group leaders that have used such courses.

My father is a pastor in Warrenton, OR and the principal at the small christian school they started there. He takes the incoming 7th grade class, every summer, to a ropes course and river rafting for a week. He believes pretty strongly in the effectiveness of the courses for teambuilding and I would like to get some second opinions from others with experience.

I zoooomed back to Washington ASAP though---BRRRR....too dang cold for me.

I was here! And you were on my space recently... I enjoyed hearing about your love of IKEA and the "store experience." From the sounds of it, the closest one to me is in Minnesota by the Mall of America. That will work out just fine when we visit relatives. :-)
Anyway, I'm glad you visited and will stop by here again soon!
