    oh goodness....I am turning into my mother

    My mom loves to read my blog, so i guess this one goes out to her!
     
    ~point of reference for you....it is about an hour past my weekday bedtime, i am still at work, waiting to register my group for the national youth gathering, and registration better open at midnight like it did last time, or i am not going to be happy AT ALL!~
     
    ok, so on with the reasons i am realizing I am turning into my mother: (who I love dearly, btw!)
     
    1. I actually described the weather outside this morning as "brisk"
    2. I have taken to sleeping with my window open, no matter what the weather..(in my defense, my apartment does get really hot)
    3. I love looking at school supplies
    4. i feel unsettled all day at work if I have left my kitchen a mess
    5. Yet I am always apologizing to guests about "the mess"
    6. a great saturday includes: a clean house, a glass of diet soda and a book

    Well, there is 6 anyway, I am sure there are more!  I can only hope to be like my mom though, because she is one of the greatest ladies I know (mom, stop shaking your head!  and if you leave a self-depricating comment on here, you will hear about it!)  She is one of my best friends, and I am so thankful for her!

     

    well, only half hour more til registration....maybe i should clean my desk.....i gotta have caffine around here somewhere!!!

    OK so why are you sucking up? I already gave you a birthday present! lol. Aren't you sweet, but delusional. It's all right, I still love you! I am just watching the March of the Penguins movie commercial and you know, I think I would like to see that one. Anyway, I happen to think that you are one of the greatest ladies I know too. In some ways, you are so wise, patient, and funny. And some days you just plain piss me off, but I wouldn't trade you for anything - not even for KT. Love you sunshine. Mom

    You have a really nice blog. I enjoyed my visit to your Space. Its so true about how we become our parents with time! No matter how much we rebel against them, its amazing how much we mimic them as we grow older! LOL!
