I will no longer be a lurker!

Ok, i know, entry number 2 for today. but seriously, my brain needs a work rest. So i am blogging.

I have a new pet peeve. Lurking. actually, I just have an issue with the fact that i know people read my space, or swing by because they have seen a link some where, yet they don't leave any traces of themselves behind. I though, oh, well, i will make a guestbook, and they will sign it, for if you build it, they will come (some good solid Field of Dreams advice.) guess what....they really haven't. I get so excited when i see that someone has left me a comment. Ok, my life is a little isolated, so that kind of stuff makes me happy...leave me alone!

But they i realized the old addage.....when you point a finger, you have 3 pointing back at cha.....oooh ouch. Yes, i will admit it. I lurk. not because i don't want to leave my mark, but sometimes because i can't think of anything witty to say, or there isn't a guest book, or because I am lazy.

Ok everyone, say it together....Hi Jenna.....

Today is the first step in my Lurker recovery! from now on, if the space i am visiting has a guestbook, i will sign it. if i have something to contribute to a blog converstaion, i will do it. there, now you have my pledge

I encourage you to do the same. I think we, as bloggers, like to know the people who have visited us. It expands our blogging community.

So i will shout it from the mountain tops....I WILL NO LONGER BE A LURKER!!!
