101 things
Ok, so i have seen other bloggers do this, so i decided to do one of my own. Partly, just because I wanted to see if i could think of 101 things to share about myself....this could be interesting.
- I love Jesus more than anything!
- I am an oldest child
- I have 2 siblings
- my sister is 2 years younger than me
- my brother is 4 years younger than me
- I am very close to my family
- I was born in September
- I grew up in Minnesota
- i grew up on a dairy farm
- My mom did daycare when i was growing up
- i love to watch tv
- I love to read
- I love to be crafty...not so much artsy
- I think my eyes are my best physical feature
- my favorite vegatable is broccoli
- or asparagus
- I am not a good speller
- I love ice cream
- and chocolate
- i have an awful sweet tooth
- I have a cat named Kia
- though she is a pest, i love her bunches
- I am a youth director
- i love my job
- I wanted to be a youth director from the time I was in 10th grade
- I have fantastic friends
- The boyfriend and I met on the internet (long story)
- most of my family didn't know until this year that that is how we met
- my favorite color is blue
- I am a godmother to 2 beautiful girls
- I think of myself as an honorary godmother to their older brother
- I was their nanny when i was in college
- i went to college in a suburb of Seattle
- I fell in love with coffee there
- i worked in the school bookstore my freshman year
- I also worked in the Preschool located on campus for 3 years
- I worked in the kindergarten classroom though
- I love the city of Seattle, but i don't want to live there
- My major in college was youth and family ministry
- my minor was biblical studies
- my emphasis was in Christian Education
- I was a counselor at a Bible camp in northern Minnesota for 3 summers
- it was the camp that i went to when i was a kid
- One summer during college i worked for my dad
- i shoveled lots of concrete
- Someday, i think i might want to be a counselor
- or a teacher
- I like to shop
- my favorite seasons are spring and fall
- i love thunderstorms
- One summer during High school i worked at Pamida
- one summer, i worked at Kmart
- and a hotel
- I graduated high school in the year 2000
- I graduated college in 2004
- I remember the first time i saw a calf being born
- we named him dusty
- in fact, we named all our cows
- and my dad kept track of them in a notebook
- I have blond hair
- and blue eyes
- My hertiage is mostly Norwegian
- and a mix of a lot of other things
- including a tiny bit Native American
- it is my dream to go to Europe one day
- And the Holy Land
- I love history
- When i was in 4th grade, I had lunch at the governor's mansion
- I am terribly afraid of snakes
- I love to talk about my faith
- and the Bible
- and Jesus
- I have a good sense of humor
- I love to cook
- I hope to one day have a big, cook friendly kitchen
- I like to entertain
- i just don't really have the room right now
- My family says I sometimes make up memories
- like falling down the escaltor
- I know that happened though
- I am very careful when i ride escaltors now
- I had imaginary friends growing up
- I blogged about them once
- I love to make people laugh
- I really enjoy all kinds of music
- I can play the flute
- and a little guitar
- i like to sing
- but not alone in front of people
- I can be a drama queen
- i feel things deeply
- I am comfortable with my emotions
- I am great at cleaning bathrooms
- I often remember my dreams
- though they often make no sense at all
- i dream in color
- I love to learn
- I want to go back to school and get my master's in a few years
- either in education or in social work
- I love mongolian food
- I try to live my life with no regrets, because i can't change the past, i can only learn from it
